my sweet samuel is really into ties these days.
it all started when he was a ring "bear" in cousin jeb & taylor's wedding in july.
he became pretty much obsessed with ties, bow-ties, vests, suits, tuxedos and collared shirts. he notices and comments anytime he sees someone wearing a tie or suit. for example, uncle richard stopped by the house after work wearing a tie. samuel promptly says "uncle richard, you look sharp."

his latest thing is he only wants to wear collared shirts...they can be buttoned down or just the regular polo. he just loves them. he has a white polo shirt with his name monogrammed on it and he is really into wearing that one. he said this morning when getting ready for school (in which now i have to let him have input if i want to avoid a meltdown) "mama, i would like you to buy me some more shirts and put my name on them." i guess i need to get started on that request!
*also we realize the major choking hazard with this obsession so we monitor samuel's tie wearing :)
