passover seder with the goodmans

our good friends, the goodmans, invited us to join them at their temple's seder tuesday evening. we always love hanging out with the goodmans and each time insures a lot of laughs. (including grayson and samuel who crack up at each other constantly)

we ate dinner together before the seder so by the time we got to the temple, the little guys had to pee...
kristin put together a "passover goody bag" full of pictures to color, games to play, and yummy chocolate matzo crunch. how sweet is she?
the boys coloring:

passover memory/ match game
samuel playing the with frogs (toys about the plague of frogs)
part of the goody bag included "matzah ball hackey sacks" and these were by far the biggest hit with this two sweaty, little boys. they ran all over the temple and outside throwing their matzah balls and yelling "come here you matzah ball!" they were cracking themselves UP!

we loved going to the seder with our dear friends and it was special to learn more about the jewish traditions of passover with them. i'm thankful for this family and for the fun we always have (even before we had our 4 boys)! i hope we have many years hanging out together...and LAUGHING together!

that's all.

my most favorite time of year

typical evening

while i make this...
samuel ties things with a rope in his new cars pj's that he wanted to try on (thanks mimi!)...
and benjamin crawls around and plays with his bottle and gets into things....

easy bar-b-que chicken pizza:

make the dough or buy a ready- made pizza crust
spread your favorite bar-b-que sauce
pull apart a bar-b-que flavored rotisserie chicken
spread on top of pizza
add shredded mozzarella cheese & red onion (you could add jalapenos like schlotzsky's)
bake 475 for 8 minutes or until cheese is melted
enjoy!
ps i learned this recipe years ago from leigh vickery :)
