birthdays, christmas party & santa

mammaw williams & nonni share a birthday right before christmas so we were excited to celebrate both of them! unfortunately i didn't get very many pics.

kyle's company has a wonderful christmas party with families included.  they provide a wonderfully catered dinner and each child gets a nice gift from santa (all selected individually for each child per their age/ gender)  it really was so special and so generous of them. they even got their pic with santa!

i am finally posting about samuel's wild rumpus...i do have a lot more posts (rodeo roundup, east, april misc, michael's graduation, dallas trip...)

(my dear friend kate helped me decorate and assemble the cake and my sister helped cut out the leaves....at 3:30 am the night before!)

the cookie favors

the injury: samuel fell from the top of the playground; he hurt his face, ear and shoulder...immediate swelling and bruising. he cried A LOT...especially for samuel.

i felt so badly for him...it was a near-party ender but he bounced back and ended up having a great time with his friends.

samuel's 4-year old stats:

46 lbs 8 oz

42 3/4" tall

some of our favorite things about samuel and things he is doing at age 4:

*he is a happy boy and pretty easy- going

*he loves to laugh and say silly things and make his brother laugh

*he is a great eater...he will try anything and eats all food groups

*he has started to drop his nap- takes a nap 2 times a week-ish and usually goes to sleep at night around 7:30 on no-nap days

*he loves pirates, dinosaurs (can name all the types), animals, sports, books, cars & button-down shirts

*samuel likes school but he would rather stay home and play- he was in the purple room

*he completed his first year of bsf (isaiah) this year

*he is a tough guy and gets hurt more than the average kiddo but rarely cries (i guess he is just active or daring!)

*he talks A LOT and pretty loud :) sugie and daddy say he is JUST like momma!
